One of the Jewish world's most influential people, Moishe Bane is the President, Orthodox Union & Senior Partner, Ropes & Gray LLP. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins and Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, and NYU School of Law. A senior Partner at international law firm, Ropes & Gray, he has practiced in the area of corporate restructuring for over 35 years. He continues to be heavily involved in Jewish community activism, in areas ranging from political advocacy, to Jewish formal and informal education, to religious outreach. Moishe has been serving as the lay President of the Orthodox Union since January 2017, and is currently serving final two year term.
