Episode Synopsis "Learn How To Make Puerto Rican Coquito with Chef Nina Arena"
Coquito is a classic holiday recipe filled with all sorts of great things but our favorite is Rum of course. Mike Gonzalez talks with Chef Nina Arena about how she makes this fun drink during her class on the www.hispanicfoodnetwork.com This recipe will make 2 bottles 1.75 litters. 2 12oz cans of evaporated milk 1 14oz can of sweet condensed milk 1 15 oz cream of coconut 2 13.5 oz of coconut milk 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder 1/4 tsp of nutmeg 2 tsp of vanilla extract Cinnamon sticks for garnish 2 cups of Barcardi white Rum. Add all the ingredients together in a blender, minus the cinnamon sticks, those we save until the end to add to the bottles or glass. Chill overnight, for better results or start right away.
