Episode Synopsis "Artists of Houston: Season 2 Ep2 with Romeo Robinson "
Romeo Robinson is a visual artist based in Houston, TX. He paints large figurative works that depict and enlighten black figures of importance and relevance to society that are sometimes overlooked or persecuted. He wanted to make looking at images of black subjects to be a normal experience, unlike what history has provided, with lack of black stories, paintings in particular, in museums and galleries, Romeo sought to fill in the gap and paint what he wanted to see.
