This month, AMPLIFY host Jennifer Ciplet speaks with guests Nitin Beri and Heidi Harris, both undergraduate students at CU Boulder and leaders in the Swap program. Swap is a student-run, grassroots initiative at CU Boulder that builds bridges of support and solidarity between Swap volunteers, campus employees, and international students in the Boulder community. Swap brings together historically and systematically divided campus sectors – such as CU Boulder students and university janitorial and other staff - to share a common learning and cultural experience. Swap also provides conversation partners to CU International English Center (IEC) students, with the goal of helping provide our international friends with the tools to be productive and self-sufficient members of the Boulder community.
