The AMC 10A is typically similar to difficulty and types of problems in the AMC 10B, so you can prepare for the AMC 10B after taking the AMC 10A. 2. In the recent years, the AMC series have gotten much harder, so you typically only need 16-19 questions right to qualify (depending on the difficulty and how many questions you leave blank). 3. If you eliminate the possible answer choices down to 3, you could try guessing, although it is not recommended! 4. Make sure you really know the material. If you need time to think about how to solve the problem and need to test multiple methods, you will most likely run out of time. 5. When practicing with mock tests, give yourself some room to make mistakes! 6. Keep calm and good luck!
