Episode Synopsis "What's the Point? - Two Men and Two Kinds of Meaninglessness"
Welcome to this week's episode of What's the Point? This week, we have two giants of philosophy and epistemology on: Friedrich Nietzsche and King Solomon, son of David. Nietzsche is often considered the father of postmodern thought and has some fairly strong opinions on the meaning of life, particularly that there is no meaning. Solomon, on the other hand takes a different approach in his book, Ecclesiastes. He sees the world as having no meaning in itself, but YHWH, the being we English speakers simply call God, gives meaning to life. We hope you enjoy this weeks episode!
