In August, scientists from the School for Marine Science and Technology at UMass Dartmouth deployed an underwater glider west of Martha's Vineyard. Named "Blue," it helps forecast hurricanes from Massachusetts to New Jersey. Professor Wendell Brown reveals how it works.
