Can you remind me?Can you remind me how we fell in love? Cause I’ve seemed to forgotten where we began, it seems so long ago. You’ll have to forgive me, as I hold on to pain so I don’t remember how it started. I guess that’s the beauty in it all, you didn’t even know it was a fall. Often times I think about what would happen in life if we got it all. If we got all the answers to all the questions. “You’ve got it!” They would cheer in movies to children who just learned to ride a bike or when they’d go up a large flight of stairs to only cry at the top of the large plastic slide. But as adults, “You’ve got it!” looks a little different. You’re parents aren’t there to tell you to go after your dreams, no one knows the inside of your mind except you. Sometimes I forget what it’s like to float, what it’s like to be. & then I breathe. & then I hear, “You’ve got it!” from that something, somewhere. & I remember how much you love me. & I forget that it doesn’t matter when or where or for how long. That it’s there and that it will always be there. & I’ll say it, forever. but can you remind me? This is a public episode.
