With it being the new year, I’m sure you have thought about, seen ads or even googled what diet you might start.

It’s gotta be confusing as all get out when it comes time to make a decision.

Let’s talk about three things to consider before you take action.

1. Be REAL with yourself. Do some research on the diet and if it’s so strict that you’ll only be able to maintain for a few weeks, you’re waisting your time and money. Look for a diet that you can commit to for a lifetime.
2. Do you relate to the coach or the program. You’ve got to have some similarities because when times get tough and you want to quit that will be one of the first reasons that you say you can’t do it. “Because they don’t have kids. Or they are a fitness model, so that’s why they can do this.” You need to be able to relate in some way so you can say to yourself, “okay, if they can then I can, too.”
3. You need to SELL OUT. Whatever you decide to choose give it everything you have. If you’re doing a bunch of random stuff, quitting things to start new things, then your results are going to be random as hell. Then when you are selling out on that program, give it 6 months.
