Episode Synopsis "Episode 1: Pilot"

In this pilot episode, I talk with New York Islanders play-by-play announcer Brendan Burke about what it is like to grow up with a parent who works in sports, what have brought Brendan to where he is today, and highlight what it was like to work in sports when the world stopped- or so it seemed- this past March. Brendan is the New York Islanders play-by-play announcer and has also called nationally televised NHL games for NBCSN, and recently, has added the Premier Lacrosse League to his repertoire. Burke has also spent time calling baseball games for the Batavia Muckdogs and the Lakewood Blue Crabs and has ridden the bus for 10 years in the ECHL as an announcer for the Wheeling Nailers. Thank you to Brendan for his time and for allowing me the chance to speak with someone who is very prominent in New York, and on Long Island especially.
