Episode Synopsis "Respecting Humanity"
The anguish and uncertainty experienced by the families of the disappeared can last forever. Many of them are relentless in their search for answers. But in the search for answers, it is easy to forget the needs and wishes of those most affected by enforced disappearances. This was explored by Dr Luis Fondebrider, President of the Argentine Forensic Anthropology team in a wide-ranging lecture, of particular resonance given the recent release of a carbon dating report of samples recovered from a grave-site in Mannar, Sri Lanka.
