Jimmy Hayburn from Loyola's swimming team was named Loyola's Male Sophomore Athlete of the Year after winning a Patriot League title in the 50 freestyle with a school-record time of 19.99. He contributed to six school records overall at the conference meet including having raced on the record-breaking 200 free, 400 free, 200 medley and 400 medley relays. Jimmy also is a proud member of the Loyola ROTC program and excels in the classroom as well boasting a 4.0 GPA. How does Jimmy balance all that!? Jimmy talks about how Loyola complements his faith, family, athletics, academics, and sense of patriotic duty.
