Episode Synopsis "The Ghostlight Trailer"
A ghost light is a light that usually stands on a pole like a lamp that is left turned on when theaters close up for the night. It allows actors and technicians to see around the stage when they return to work. Since COVID-19 shutdown many theaters around the world, some have kept their lights on to represent hope in the future of theaters while others have had to turn them off and shutdown completely. This podcast is meant to unite the theater goers to be a constant despite our current circumstances. This will be a great way for students to upload audio performances to give opportunities and give our listeners more theatre in their lives. We will also have announcements about important events that go on within our department. Given that the year has been rather dark, it is our time to unite (Hence "Ghostlight" as one word) and share some awesome theatre!
