This is the beginning of a series called "The Christian and the Latter-Day Saint."Connor is a friend of mine that I met through a discussion forum online. He is a very polite and knowledgeable member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-Day Saints. He has been willing to join me for a series of conversations discussing the differences between Christianity and the LDS.This episode is the introduction. Connor and I will discuss the general similarities and differences we have, along with the elephant in the room question... Are the LDS Christians? This podcast is not an endorsement of LDS doctrine, but it is an endorsement of courteous discussion and debate with the intention of growing and learning. Many Christians do not understand the nuance of the LDS faith, and so they consistently misrepresent them.
