Globally we see the result of mankind's lost connection with nature. We’ve moved so far away from the wild that many don’t know how fast and easily ecosystems are destroyed, both on land and in waters. The forever chase for economic growth has made us lost and we seem to have forgotten a bit of ourselves and where we came from. How do we turn this sinking ship around? In the end, humans will not survive in a baron world that is stripped from life. I believe we need to remember who we are and start to reconnect on both an emotional and logical level with nature to understand what we need to do next. This problem won’t be fixed by calculating continuous growth at the same time as protecting the earth. The value needs to come from something else. In this episode, we have Andris aka the bird whisperer. A man who spent more time in the forest than most western people ever do. This has given him a deep sense of connection and knowledge about nature. Andris has made many Swedish Television appearances, imitating birds at “Sweden’s Got Talent” as well as other shows, but he has so much more crucial in-depth knowledge to share as well as his beautiful voice.
