Today’s episode is a great inspirational talk with the world-class backstroker and amazing coach from Brazil, Nelson Silva. We spoke about his beginnings to the sport of swimming (00:53), the story of how he started swimming backstroke (07:40), Nelson shared his insights on swimming technique (13:54), and Dave Salo’s way of coaching (15:20). Nelson spoke about the most inspirational people in his life (18:32) and shared the key to success in backstroke swimming (22:34). Then we opened a very interesting topic and discussed what are some of the health indicators to watch in order to stay healthy and to not overtrain yourself (24:25) and Nelson’s approach to supplementation and nutrition (28:10).
