Episode Synopsis "Are businesses required to offer 401(k) plans?"
Are small businesses required to provide a 401(k) plan to their employees? There is no law that requires a company to offer a 401(k) plan. However, in late 2020 California law will require large companies to start an "IRA Savings" for workers. If you're currently working for a business that doesn't offer a 401(k) plan, you have the option of speaking to a financial advisor so you can open up a IRA and invest in your future.
