Dr. Dave Ertmer, Ph.D., is a speech pathologist by trade and now conducts research at Purdue. While he was a practicing clinician, he worked in many different settings including a school for the deaf in Wisconsin. His research focus now is aural rehabilitation and finding new ways to help people with cochlear implants communicate effectively.
