Breanna has lived in Myanmar since 2015 (though she is currently unable to return to life in Myanmar since the military coup that took place in February 2021). Breanna uses examples from the Burmese language to illustrate the challenges created by international charitable giving and international development for local communities who are expected to receive aid with gratitude.
