Episode Synopsis "Selimut untuk Syria"

Now in its 10th year, the Syrian refugee crisis is the largest refugee and displacement crisis of our time. About 5.6 million Syrians are refugees, and another 6.2 million people are displaced within Syria. Nearly 12 million people in Syria need humanitarian assistance.Conditions in Syrian refugee camps are from a nightmare. There isn't enough food so expired food is distributed leaving people sick. There isn't enough space to accommodate the influx of refugees; many people have to share a tent for sleeping. There's a lack of medical supplies and educational resources.Come hear what our esteemed panelists have to say about the crisis and what we can do to alleviate the hardships suffered by many Syrians! We are lucky to have Imran Zaki and Izzah Fakharuldin, both of whom were involved in the Selimut untuk Syria humanitarian missions in the past.
