Episode Synopsis
You will be reminded of the counting of breaths, and be challenged to trust, in yourself, and in me, as you are guided through new visualizations.
Remember that you may experience anxiety, or fear. TRUST that whatever is being spoken, is only that- words. You always have the choice, in Nidra, and especially in life, to NOT listen, to NOT obey the instructions.
What exists in your life and what exists in your mind are BOTH your CHOICE.
Any sensation that you feel that is unpleasant, you HAVE THE POWER to change, to shift, to come into a place of pleasant comfort, if you so desire.
You CAN also CHOOSE to be guided by the instructions and observe how you feel.
The whole practice of Nidra is intended to awaken THE POWER OF OBSERVATION within you. Of feeling guided, and accepting what comes.
If you do experience any nervousness, extreme discomfort, or pain, please know that it will not last forever, and by experiencing these sensations, from within ourselves, and also by observing our reactions, we are learning more and more about ourselves, everyday.
We come to understand WHEN, HOW, AND WHY WE REACT, we can better understand HOW to soothe ourselves.
Acknowledgement of CHOICE is an ENORMOUS part of personal growth, and spiritual development. Yes, there are MANY things you CANNOT CONTROL in life.
We might as well utilize the resources available to us in the areas we CAN.
