In 2005, I was given the opportunity to produce a TV commercial for a new fragrance launch, which sadly never came to be. Here are :30 second clips, copied from iTunes samples, of 53 tracks I was considering as my picks for branding the product line. The client chose someone else to head up the project, alas. Big mistake, in my humble opinion. The launch was a dismal failure. The song they wound up picking, without my input, was "Feelin' Alright" by Dave Mason (blech), for which they paid over 100 grand!

As it turned out though, these :30 second samples proved to be a compelling way to listen to this music. Still one of my favorite CDs to listen to in my car, especially if I'm in a hurry. Presented here pretty much in alphabetical order.
