This project explores the intertwined relationship between race, music cognition and perception, and genre formation, and how they work together as a process from the creation of music to its reception and classification. Using sources from articles, YouTube videos, and a personal account, we explore this relationship more in depth, focusing on how it functions in America, specifically highlighting its function the black/white relationship.
