Episode Synopsis "Gluteal Tendinopathy"

Key Points for Gluteal Tendinopathy: decrease compression forces by limiting amount of hip adduction, improve biomechanics during dynamic and functional activities and progressively strengthen glute abductors. Primary research used was LEAP study by Grimaldi et al in 2018, which outlined the exercise phases and progressions. Their study included detailed pictures and descriptions. Additionally, Allison K et al 2016 "Hip Abductor Weakness in Individuals with Gluteal Tendinopathy" and Ganderton et al 2018 "Gluteal loading vs sham exercise to improve pain and dysfunction in post menopausal women with greater trochanteric pain syndrome".
