Episode Synopsis "The Weird Story of the San Jose Bees"

The 1986 San Jose Bees were a one-off team like no other. It was a team built of washed-up major leaguers, phenoms who were down on their luck, international players who barely spoke English and young players looking to make their way to the big leagues. They had a general manager who was just 26 years old and bad attitudes making them a bit of a laughing stock in the professional baseball world. This is the story of "The Bad News Bees."
