Listen "The Great Bambino"
Episode Synopsis
In this week's episode of Painting the Corners with Anton Schindler, Schindler talks about Babe Ruth. A man of many nicknames, Ruth was not only a prolific hitter but an unbelievably accomplished pitcher, something that most people might not realize. Anton breaks down Ruth’s movement around Major League Baseball and the transactions he was part of that created the Curse of the Bambino that kept the Boston Red Sox out of the World Series for 85 years! Schindler also gives the stats that give Babe Ruth a strong case of being truly one of the best, if not the best, baseball player to ever set foot on the diamond.
