Episode Synopsis "Nobody Asked: A Podcast That Nobody Asked For - E1: Talking about Globalization and Cultural Exchanges between Japan and America w/ Taihiro Thompson-Cook"

In the first and last episode of Nobody Asked, I invited my half-Japanese friend Taihiro Thompson-Cook to talk about how globalization has allowed him and other Americans to connect and interact with Japanese culture. Here, we talk about how streaming services have brought anime to a larger western audience, how shipping services like Amazon have allowed people in the States to order and purchase goods from Japan with a click of a button, and how food has been caught in cultural exchanges now that planes allow people to travel between continents more easily.
