Episode Synopsis "Conversation with mother and Gads Hill Center employee Aimee Casares about new academic facility in Brighton Park"

In late October, the Pilsen-based organization Gads Hill Center opened a new $7 million facility in Brighton park to better serve immigrant communities in the southwest neighborhood. The new center, located at 4255 S. Archer Ave., will offer early education, mental health services and comprehensive family support in addition to its usual after-school programs. Aimee Casares, a 25-year-old receptionist working the center’s Pilsen location, said the new building is necessary for the younger demographic in Brighton park in need of childcare services and early development programs.
