In the seventh of a weekly series of dharma talks, "Meditation and Society", Dr. Adam Lobel discusses the Buddhist teaching of selflessness and how it isn't only a philosophical approach, but also a teaching that can have profound effects on our meditation practice and spiritual journey. Adam Lobel, Ph.D. Harvard University, is a scholar of philosophy and religion and a longtime meditation practitioner and teacher. His research focuses on meditation practice and pedagogy in the Great Perfection (Dzogchen) tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and modern phenomenology, and he is active in ecological and social justice movements. He lives in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife and two sons.
