Soultech started getting into electronic music in 2000. Around that time Soultech also started going to raves. Progressive / Melodic was the thing back then. After hanging in clubs a while, Soultech decided to lend DJ decks from a friend. They eventually hooked Soultech completely to electronic music. The next few years went training to play and to make music. In 2003 Soultech and couple of friends had an idea to start a collective and gather Finnish producers and DJ’s to work together. This was a start to a Melting Point, which later gave birth to Radio MP and also started a local club. The club was arranged a few times a year. First release was “Corydalics & Adaro – Occulsio” in 2005. It was released on Subraxx Digital and also in Finity’s compilation. In the year 2007 Melting Point’s activity stopped. However, few years after Melting Point started Radio Cluster, which is still active. The idea was to give new DJ’s the opportunity to show their style and music to others. In the year 2007, a second release came for Wavedata Records. It was called “Sointu – Brutal”. Mike Foyle played that release and gave a positive feedback to go on. “Sointu – Rebel” was also released the same year on 4playtrax. Soultech’s first gig was in 2004. In 2005-2007 Soultech only played on radio. After that Soultech has been doing gigs’ occasionally.
