Episode Synopsis "Kilchoman and the Whisky bridge to History"

Recently a friend turned me on to Kilchoman Machir Bay. Due to my history compulsion I was forced to look into the history of the whisky’s namesake. Upon researching Machir Bay I discovered a huge bond between Islay and many of my fallen countrymen. Nearly 200 WW1 American soldiers were laid to rest near the village of Kilchoman after a tragedy on the shores of Machir Bay in October 1918
