Episode Synopsis "Ep 17: Expressions of India with the Berndt Museum of Anthropology and LSAC"
In this episode, Michael Houston and Sofie Nielsen from the Berndt Museum of Anthropology are joined by members of the 2020 LWAG Student Advisory Committee Maya Quinn and Jeremy Passmore to discuss the online exhibition 'Expressions of India: From the Ronald M. And Catherine H. Berndt Collection'. Originally scheduled to take place in person, 'Expressions of India' was modified to take place as an online exhibition because of the Gallery's closure due to COVID-19. Tune in to hear how the process of shifting the exhibition online presented a range of new challenges, as well as exciting opportunities. And find out more about this exhibition, which looks at Indian life across three distinct styles of painting, featuring objects drawn from a collection of over 950 items from the Berndt Museum. The music in this episode is from David Hilowitz's 'Principles in Action', licensed under an Attribution-NonCommercial License on the Free Music Archive.
