Welcome to the Longview Outdoor Gallery Podcast! Art is an essential expression of what mankind holds important. From fish to flowers and peace to play, the Longview Outdoor Gallery represents the human experience from every angle. Using materials that come from the earth, each sculpture captures the eye and makes the viewer want to learn more. That’s why we’ve created this podcast. Each piece of art corresponds to a specific episode on this podcast, giving you the opportunity to learn a little bit more about the piece and the artist. We've designed the podcast in a way that does not require you to walk any one way through downtown Longview. You can walk wherever you like, to look at whichever sculpture you choose, whenever you want! Once you've picked a sculpture, you'll scroll down to find the podcast episode that corresponds with it, click on it and listen away.  The sculptures and the podcasts were made possible by the Longview Outdoor Gallery, a non-profit 100 percent donor supported organization. All proceeds have gone to buy sculptures to enhance the beauty of our community and attract more visitors to the downtown area. In 12 years, the Longview Outdoor Gallery has purchased and donated to the city, 29 sculptures. All thanks to a small board of volunteers and a generous community. This outdoor gallery has turned Longview’s historic center into a lasting cultural expression. Thank you for your support and thank you for listening! Enjoy!
