Episode Synopsis "UTSA's Isaiah Wyatt On Journey From JUCO to D1, Missing Out On D1 Offer, Being Focused As An Athlete"
Today I sat down with a guy I've known since middle school in Isaiah Wyatt. He talks about his journey from starting out in a JUCO school and working his way up to D2 and eventually D1. Throughout his journey, he experienced a HUGE shift in his mindset if he was going to get to where he wanted to get. That included unseen hours in the gym, learn from past mistakes, being grateful and taking advantage of every opportunity thrown his way. That led him all the way up to now being a D1 player for the UTSA Roadrunners. Before that, Isaiah had a chance to be a D1 player outside of high school, but let that opportunity slip due to immaturity off the court. He's takes that L as a lesson and not a loss and that is a contributing factor in why he had been so successful in his career so far.
