Mr. Lamarre holds a Bachelor of Communications degree from the University of Ottawa. He began his career as a journalist, then became the Director of communications for the Fédération des Caisses Populaires Desjardins at the Center du Québec. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in different companies including Cogeco, Burson-Marsteller Public Relations, National Public Relations, and TVA Group.
Since 2001, he has been the CEO of Cirque du Soleil, where he is responsible for business development, operations, financial sustainability, and maintaining the company's culture and values. In 2012, Mr. Lamarre also collaborated to create the C2MTL business conference we all know and love!
