Still, it may well go against the level playing field clauses in the new future relationship agreement signed last December. The level playing field terms states that Britain can’t become more competitive than the EU as it would be deemed an unfair advantage to Britain. Doing so will end in sanctions. Will Boris be strong enough to facedown the EU to protect the London financial system?
