Episode Synopsis "MEET THE ATHLETE - AILSA WYLIE"

MHS PE meet Ailsa Wylie. Ailsa began her hockey career representing her school, club and country from U16 level all the way through to the Senior Women's team and has now achieved 145 caps for Scotland. She has also achieved a top 6 finish in the European Championships in 2013 and competed at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Ailsa is a hugely talented athlete with a successful career in hockey and also in her current role as a manager at Sport Scotland. We discuss the mental, emotional, social and physical factors that impact her performance and find out the dedication, mindset and commitment required to be an elite athlete.
