Episode Synopsis "'Being Human in STEM' with Professor Sheila Jaswal"

Desi and Allie are joined by Professor Sheila Jaswal from Amherst College. In response to campus-wide Black Lives Matter protests, Sheila partnered with student activists to develop the independent study course 'Being Human in STEM.' This Amherst course has since evolved into a network of universities that host courses, workshops, and conferences with the same original goal: to investigate the intersection of identity, inclusion, and science.
