Welcome to the Heart to Heart Podcast! Join our hosts Hailey Ryan and Haitian Ma on an exploration of music, arts, connection, creativity, collaboration, inspiration, and new friendships. :) At Humans in Harmony, we believe the power of art to connect people across cultural and geographic boundaries. In this unstable time of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever to find creative way to connect with each other. Humans in Harmony is adapting to these difficult times by using virtual means to connect people from different backgrounds. This summer, we launched a virtual collaborative arts project, connecting people from the United States to the Netherlands to China... in creating multi-media art projects and sharing our stories together in this isolated period of time. We are excited to introduce two of our summer virtual CollabArts participants! Josh Siracusa and Preston Kra - who met, wrote, recorded, finalized a full musical project titled, "King of Quarantine" (available on our Spotify page) Preston is a student at the Berklee College of Music. Viewing music as a lifelong companion and vital outlet of creativity; it has become “an integral part of who I am and what I love." Josh is a sophomore at Columbia studying music and sustainable development. Growing up in the rural part of southern California, he often brings love of hiking and time by the lake into his own song writing practice.
