Listen "Recommitting God's People to God's Glory: Holy Unsettledness"
Episode Synopsis
Ralph Waldo Emerson, 18th century philosopher, while not a Christian, was astute when he wrote, “People wish to be settled; only as far as they are unsettled is there any hope for them.” Too often as believers we become indifferent in our view of the world and fail to passionately pursue our calling. While we are called to be content in all things, only those with a sense of unsettledness will ever achieve the purpose for which they were created. This Sunday Pastor Kevin will continue his series, Recommitting God’s People to God’s Glory from the book of Nehemiah and will discuss how Nehemiah could not rest until the work of rebuilding had been accomplished and how we too must live with that same passion. Join us Sunday for the message, Holy Unsettledness.
