And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. INSPIRATION: There's an action that sets in motion the miraculous. Your action it is. God is a constant, you and your actions are the variables. Once the variable is missing, the equilibrium can't be found and the equation can't become balanced. Your refusal or inability to take that appropriate line of action of obedience through faith robs God of the glory that should be ascribed to Him. Luke records, "Jesus says to them, 'Go show yourselves unto the priests.'" That' was the instruction but their actions birthed the miracle: "And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed" (Luke 17: 14). This miracle might never have happened had they not obeyed. Obedience triggers miracles, and miracles bring glory to God. Acts 1: 8 says, "You shall receive the power of the Holy Spirit, and you shall 'BE.' The "Be" is an active verb that connotes action. There's an action that's required of us at every given point of our lives. To 'Be,' is an active verb that requires some level of corresponding action. This is what stirs the atmosphere for your miracle. This is what activates the power you've received. Therefore, take that bold step of faith, exert yourself in action. Until the four friends of the paralytic removed a roof to let him into Jesus's presence, his sickness stayed with him. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭Unless you act, you'll get nothing. Any action that is devoid of obedience in faith will not produce results. It is that action that is anchored on faith and obedience that pleases and brings glory to God. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please, help me to act in faith and obedience, and cause miracles to take place each time I do. I refuse to rob You of the glory You deserve, in Jesus name.
