The wicked flee when no man pursueth: But the righteous are bold as a lion. INSPIRATION: The mindset controls everything, not empty affirmations. One can be affirmative, yet possess a mindset that is opposed to what they say. The greatest victories or defeats first occur in the mind. The biggest battles and toughest struggles take place in the mind. People who lose their grip of tenacity to life first lose it in their minds. Once the mind caves in, everything else crumbles. That's why Proverbs counsels us to guard our hearts with all diligence (Prov. 4: 23). To guard implies to mount a vigilance watch. You don't want to allow anything mess with your mind! The winning mindset may know all the odds piled up against it, but still have that uncanny inner fortitude that it would win regardless. The winning mindset never gives defeat a thought. It is willing to take its chances even with the tiniest glimpse of hope, it's determined to beat the odds. In fact, the odds fuel their passion to conquer and dismantle mountains. "And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Beth-lehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: ..." (2 Sam. 23:16‬). ‭ TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭What kind of mindset would make these three men in 2 Samuel 23: 16 take such a huge risk of going to the enemy's camp to fetch water for their king? You be the judge to that! Then decide the kind of mindset you operate your life on. PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive grace to operate the kind of mindset that David's mighty men had. I'm courageous and persistent; my mind is saturated with faith that causes limitless possibilities to abound towards me, therefore, nothing defeats me, in Jesus name.
