This is the first episode in a 3-episode podcast on the history of Bagg's Square, Utica NY.  We'll take you to where Utica began, which was at both a ford and a fort along the Mohawk River. After the British abandon Old Fort Schuyler, we'll take you through a walking tour of the Road to Albany, the large Meat Packing District along the rail lines, and end at the jewel of Bagg's Square, Union Station where we'll pick up episode 2.
