In Episode 18, the Dads talk Mental Health. Ah, Fathers: those stoic, unshakeable rocks that you see on TV. The men whose mere mild perturbation could set children to trembling three rooms away. The ones who would talk to you when they got home. The ones who, on TV, at least, were, as a rule, taciturn and withdrawn, until, of course, the big episode where the guy who played the Dad got to chew a bunch of scenery because he lost his job, but thankfully, still retains his status as “Man of the House” in everyone’s eyes. After the Dads talk what’s new in Dadding (Colin’s watching his son show off his imagination, everything’s still new to Mike, and Corey’s got a move coming up), the Dads talk about what they see as the biggest factor affecting Dads’ mental health, how having kids affected their own mental states, and how they handled these changes in their headspace.
