Dr Russell Kolts is Professor of Psychology at Eastern Washington University and an expert in compassion focused therapy for anger. We discuss ANGER, COMPASSION AND WHAT IT MEANS TO BE STRONG. Russell has authored or coauthored numerous scholarly articles and books, including CFT Made Simple, CFT from the Inside Out, An Open-Hearted Life: Transformative Lessons for Compassionate Living from a Clinical Psychologist and a Buddhist Nun, and Buddhist Psychology and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy: A Clinician's Guide.But Russell has also pioneered the application of CFT to the treatment of problematic anger. In 2012 he published The Compassionate Mind Guide to Managing Your Anger, based on his work with men in correctional services helping them cultivate true strength via CFT.
