Episode Synopsis "Episode 5 - Analysis Of Descartes' Second Meditation (Part 1)"

- Caveat for the interpretation of Descartes argument: Perhaps a bad idea on my part, but the use of the word 'something' in every step of the argument refers to the same object all the way through, meaning that 'If I know that X is the same as me, and I know that X exists, then I know that I exist'.In this week's episode, I provide an analysis of the first half of Descartes' second meditation in Meditations on First Philosophy. There are some really interesting discussions the importance of keeping epistemological and metaphysical arguments separate as well as finally finding out what we can know!
