The first guest of Blablalara is Tisha Raj - very very special guest! She is originally from Malaysia and currently lives in Canada. I met her in Argentina and she visited me in L.A. once. Very international story. Check it out! "Tisha Raj migrated from tropical Malaysia to the prairies of Alberta, Canada in 2008. Having lived in the city of Edmonton for almost 13 years, she has come to love the mountains but naturally still yearns for the ocean.  Migrating as a young adult, Tisha had to navigate the perils of making new friends, finding a new career path and discovering a new sense of identity as a first generation immigrant to Canada. As a graduate of MacEwan University majoring in Sociology with a minor in Political Science, Tisha has had the amazing opportunity to work in various non for profit organizations; advocating for post secondary students, engaging community in local human rights issues as a community educator & facilitator and currently as a member advisor assisting international medical graduates on their pathway to licensure or alternative careers in healthcare. She has a deep learning for sustainability and conservation in addition to the intersectionality of race, gender & immigration. In her spare time she loves to rejuvenate during her travels around the globe and across Canada."
