Dr. Kristen Mattson is a veteran educator and library media specialist who is known nationally for her work on media literacy and digital citizenship for K-12 learners. She wrote Digital Citizenship in Action: Empowering Students to Engage in Online Communities and recently published Ethics in a Digital World: Guiding Students through Societies Biggest Questions. In this episode, we ask Dr. Mattson some big questions and we have a little fun talking about vacations. Plus, we dig into what teachers can do right now to encourage students and families to be engaged and ethical digital citizens.
