Archer Glass owner, Gerry Whelan, has been in the glazing industry for more than 40 years. He is an expert when it comes to glasses and mirrors and complies with Australian Glazing code AS1288 2006. Archer Glass started as a family business and has grown over the years. They provide glass replacement services to homes, shops, offices, and factories. They also supply cut to size glasses, leadlight, showerscreens, mirrors, splashbacks, doors, glass windows and more. In this recent interview, Gerry discusses mirrors and the different types of mirrors. He explains each type from the Ordinary mirror, Framed mirror, Vinyl Back mirror, Beveled mirror, and to the Splashback mirror. He also gives a glimpse of how glass is turned into mirror through what they call “Silvering Process.”
