Welcome to the podcast series of Anicut Angel Fund. In this podcast we have a very interesting conversation with Ishan Sharma, Co-founder of Deepsync. Deepsync (https://deepsync.co) is a deeptech voice cloning startup which works on artificial intelligence to produce high quality audio output from text or audio files through a technology which clones any voice with precision of 96 percentage with attributes such as accent, modulation, expression and dialect perfectly matched. A voice over artist has to just upload his/her pre recorded voice on Deepsync's platform. Deepsync's learning engine then clones the voice and the next time a new audio content needs to be produced the user has to just upload a pdf or a doc file of the content. This is a studio level output produced with a fraction of the cost (10x lower) with 90% efficiency. This product has multiple use cases, across industries and geographies, some of the early adopters would be audio book creators This tool would help them to produce high quality user generated content for all languages and genres. Aimed at India’s rising 500M users who wish to consume long format audio content in their language. In this episode the founders discuss aspects like what deeptech really means, scaling and acquiring customers with a deep tech product, hiring aspects/strategy for such a specialized sector and future of Audio tech.
